How I Spent My Awesometism Vacation

October 26, 2011

The day after I wrote my last post, I hopped on a plane to Las Vegas for a four day, all expenses paid trip to Las Vegas, courtesy of The Las Vegas Convention And Visitors Authority. I was sent there to cover the iHeartRadio concert and some DJ-related events for AOL Music Canada and AOL Travel. It was insane and wonderful, and it made me want to be a travel writer when I grow up. I’ll tell you more about it later. I promise.

I came home, tried to readjust to life without limos and bottle service (as one friend told me, “Re-entry is a bitch.”), and threw myself into an abundance of fitness and writing work.

Two separate companies with which I had long and generally positive business relationships were sold and gutted. I’m not a fan of change in general, but those two were a particular bitch.

I went to a family Thanksgiving party. I went to a friend’s wedding.

Then I ran a half-marathon.

All of which has ironically prevented me from posting anything in autism blog during Autism Awareness Month.

But I’m back! I think! And, in celebration of returns from the dead, here’s something I wrote about zombies.

O.k. good. I was worried about your silence. Terrific article about zombies. “Then Buffy staked Edward. The End.”
